American Girl Doll & Accessories Huge Lot
18” American Girl, Pleasant Co. Samantha Doll ~ Many Outfits ~ Accessories ~ HUGE LOT!!!
Note: the purple coat "fur" collar was left turned up in most pictures by mistake but it is shown properly in the 3rd photo.  Also,
the 2nd picture accurately shows blue "skating party" dress on doll
- it is washed out in other pics due to the camera flash - the dress is perfect with no color imperfections.
Altogether there are 4 hats, 1 bonnet, 2 pinafores, leather shoes, 1 cape, 3 coats, 7 dresses, 3-piece nightie set, 1 nightie or shift,
full bathing costume with life saver, 2 pair of tights, bloomers, undies, & petticoat – see below full listing of accessories.
Most are tagged – some of the underwear is not & most of the untagged items are identifiable as American Girl.
All items including doll are made by Pleasant Company – some made in China & some made in Western Germany.
The early 1990’s 18” American Girl Samantha doll (missing tag) is included, although her has been trimmed (evenly at least), & the underbangs were also trimmed: still, she is presentable & clean w/no stains nor scuffs.
The doll is verified as a Pleasant Company doll.
The doll wears a pale blue satin "skating party" dress (ca. 1900) with dropped waist & bow, lace trim & matching hair bow with ribbon “flowered” necklace.
She also wears white tights, pantaloons & all leather black shoes.

The outfits as shown, include the complete Navy polka dot 2-piece bathing suit, hat & “Piney Point” life saver (some fading to letters), the “automobiling” beige duster with 8 buttons, floral embroidered “scarf” (replaced), & beige velvet hat with maroon ribbon & silver buckle, a very elaborate 3-piece white nightie with pink ribbon & white lace.
The bodice attaches to the under-skirt with buttons & some have elastic & buckles.
There are 3 school dresses, to which 2 white pinafores can be added: brown & dove grey checkered with maroon ribbon belt & buckle, also head band, blue & white checkered dress (has faint brown stain on one sleeve), & a grey flannel dress with white trim & buttons.
The gorgeous maroon taffeta, lace & ribbon Christmas dress has a matching velvet felt hat with multi-ribbon bows.
There are extra black tights (with small darning repair), bloomers & petticoat.
The 2 additional dresses with hat or bonnet are untagged but look professionally made by American Girl, Pleasant Company.
They include a sumptuous green velvet dress with white lace & matching lace-trim hat, & a period green & red striped dress also of excellent quality, with an adorable matching brimmed bonnet.
There are also 2 more coats & a cape – a red wool taffeta lined coat with “mouton” trim & muff (no tag), tagged purple wool with “fur” trim & frog closures, & a Navy & deep green Blackwatch plaid wool cape taffeta lined with “fur” collar – tag missing but identifiable.
The accessories are follows:
Brass lunch bucket with swing handle contains hand embroidered “napkin”, gingerbread man cookie, deviled egg & peach.
The American Girl wood hairbrush with metal “bristles” is marked, & the composition book, “Samantha Parkington” is marked “Pleasant Company”, with a tiny ink pen with dipping nib.
There is a Baldwin Primer by May Kirk, American Book Company miniature repro antique lesson school book (both are in pristine condition).
Further there is an American Girl salon cape with 12 curlers, & what looks like a harness or collars for a pet? Included as-found.
All items are in excellent – very good vintage condition – no tears, holes, nor stains except as mentioned, although a few may need ironing by the time they arrive due to packing.
