    Description

    This is a very scarce early Champion Table Sauce A.A.Smyth food bottle that was dug from an 1860s outhouse privy pit....it has unusual A C B CO glassmaker's mark on bottom, which is the same mark found on some early Civil War era Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce bottles.....

    A C B CO
    on bottom, which stands for Aire Calder Bottle Co of England.....Hand blown in mold, bimal...smooth base....crude applied collar....aqua....round..8 1/2"tall...Excellent condition with no chips or damage except a small rough spot/flake on underside of bottom ring of lip. A dug bottle with normal haze. Should tumble clean nice. I had never dug one of these before ....
