Japanese commemorative postcards and envelope
In 1935, Emperor of Manchukuo visit to Japan, the postcards were issued in commemoration of that.
(
Manchukuo was a puppet state of the Empire of Japan from 1932 until 1945.)
The photo shows decorated tram-car. Such tram-car
were often used at events from Meiji Period to pre-war Showa Period.
It is now almost obsolete.
Other decorated tram-car, there is a tram-car to commemorate the welcome of American fleet (1908) and British ships (1906), and the return of the Crown Prince (1921).
