"The heroic defence of the garrison", 1950, V.Pamfilov.
Fight of thirteen border guards with a Finnish detachment on the night of January 24-25, 1940, on the border in the Murmansk region.
As a result of the battle, 11 border guards were killed, two were seriously wounded.
Private Alexander Spekhov, whom the Finns tried to take a prisoner, blew himself up with a grenade along with the enemies.
