2 Civil War military related postcards, 1 showing General Lew Wallace and James Whitcomb Riley unused est. 1910, and 1 map showing Line of Movement Confederate and Union Armies 1861 unused est. 1920 but hard to date.  Condition is excellent.

General Lewis Wallace (1827-1905) was a Union general and Governor of New Mexico Territory.  In 1859 he organized a militia in Crawfordsville Indiana and adopted the French Algerian  Zouave Uniform.  He is also know as the author in 1880 of Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ.
