AMERICAN GIRL DOLL SAMANTHA BATHING COSTUME LIMITED EDITION VERSION 1997 - 99

Description

This auction is for an older doll outfit  for the American Girl Samantha  doll. The set is called Samantha's  Bathing Costume.  It was a special limited edition outfit produced from1997 - 1999.   The set is in generally good condition and features the following
Navy blue bathing outfit. Three rows of two decorative mother of pearl buttons on chest. Short puffed sleeves. Collar and cuffs made of a navy print with white polka dots. Elastic at bottom of knee-length pant legs. Opens in back with velcro. elastic works at waist.  Has some wrinkles and fabric softer no longer crisp.
Matching navy skirt. Waistband uses navy print with white polka dots.Was used on doll, taken on and off so the skirt has wrinkles and is no longer crisp, a softer feel.
Navy shoes with white polka dot print. Shoe uses this fabric around all sides and does not have soles. Elastic around edges.
Wide-brimmed straw hat. Trim on brim, peak of hat, and band that uses navy fabric with white polka dots. Band has a bow attached. Excellent overall
White styrofoam circular life preserver with Piney Point printed twice around float in red font. Four white fabric pieces tied around edges to attach white rope. Preserver has some dings or depressions in the styrofoam.

Set has been played with, but still displays nicely and is harder to find.  Selling as used, this is perfect for someone who wants a play outfit to take on and off a doll.
I ship next business day after payment. I do not ship internationally at this time.  I normally ship  USPS or  Fed Ex for heavier items.  If shipped USPS, I will ship in a white shipper box wrapped with brown paper.
