American Girl Doll Samantha Collection Outfits and Accessories VTG Retired. Condition is "Used" but appears to be in exceptional condition.
American Girl Vintage, It was learned that this collection was introduced in 1986 and was archived in 2009, Every item was Mfg.by Pleasant Company 1998-2000. Included are everything displayed in the attached photos. Preowned, and safely stored within in a temperature controlled sealed carton since 2004 within a non-smoking home.

Samantha’s Bed and Commode Nightstand with Night time necessities
Three-piece brass bed frame. Headboard and foot board pieces are identical save their height; both have two thick bedposts topped with molded spherical knobs, spaced apart by two narrow horizontal brass bars. Between these are five vertical evenly spaced narrow brass bars; these are longer for the headboard than the foot board. The upper horizontal bar is topped with two brass curlicues that mirror each other, forming a shape at the center resembling the top of a heart. The third piece, also of narrow brass bars, is the mattress supporter, which slots into small tubes attached to the head board and the foot board. This allows for easy assembly and disassembly of the bed.
Mattress-
Cotton tufted mattress. Cream color.
Bedspread-
White tufted bedspread. Gathered, lace trimmed ruffles along both long sides and one short side (the latter is to be slotted through a gap in the foot board). Lining of bedspread is same cream color as mattress, ruffles are unlined. Small rosette bows of narrow pink ribbon at each tufting.
Pillow-
White doll-sized pillow. Wide lace trim around all four edges. Rosette bow of narrow pink ribbon at one corner; this is slightly larger than those on the bedspread.
Commode Nightstand:
Cream colored nightstand (commode). Single pull out drawer with two gilt-colored filigree pulls. Cabinet space beneath drawer, closed by two single-panel doors with gilt-colored knobs. Decorative curved panel below cabinet (top of nightstand is curved in a similar style).Round dowel held up by two squared posts above nightstand surface; this is intended for hanging the towel.
Samantha’s Night time Necessities kit:
Ceramic Pitcher and bowl with flowers and golden trim accents. White linen cloth towel which hangs on the nightstand. Samantha's Favorite Book "The Wizard of OZ" in a miniature hard covered green book. (new photo coming soon).

Samantha’s Classic Meet Outfit
This Item was introduced in 1986 and was archived in 2006 and was associated with the short story titled “Meet Samantha”.
Dress- Checked Taffeta drop waisted dress. Cloth pattern of small checked burgundy, brown, and ivory. High collar, drop waist, long slightly gathered sleeves, and pleated front (the back is plain). Burgundy satin “waist” sash. Velcros up the back and at wrist cuffs. Bloomers- White cotton bloomer style underpants. Elastic at waist and bottom cuffs. Stockings-Long black ribbed tights. The official descriptions called them “stockings”,however these are full length tights which, on a dressed doll, are placed under the bloomers. Shoes- Black plastic slip-on Mary Jane style shoes. These shoes are identical to Molly’s. Hair Bow- wide taffeta bow made from the same print as the dress.
Meet Samantha Classic Accessories:
This optional product includes her Hat, Purse, and Lace Handkerchief see photo. The Hat- is burgundy faux-velvet hat with rose, dove grey, and gold colored ribbons tied into the bows and allowed to dangle in the back. Samantha is generally not shown wearing the hat, but instead is shown carrying it in her hand. The Purse- A rose velvet clutch purse with a golden clasp and a chain that slips over her wrist. The Handkerchief- A white laced-trimmed handkerchief with embroidered flowers. The Locket- Brooch- A golden bow-shaped brooch with a heart shaped locket. It comes with pictures of her mother and father to be placed inside and is pinned to the front of her dress.

Pink kimono with ivy pattern. Cream satin trim at collar and sleeves. Gathered at yoke with cream satin piping.
