This is Samantha's Elegant Doll Pram - earliest first version from Samantha's first release, Pleasant Company.  It was introduced in 1987 and is now retired.
Red three-wheeled doll carriage with gold and dark green trim.  Black wheels with gold spokes.  Red handlebar and gold handles.  Pleasant Company sticker - made in Taiwan.
This is the earliest first version release by Pleasant Company.  The pram is more of a red shade and not the deep burgundy found on later versions.  There are double spokes on all wheels, 10 on the front and 8 on each side.  This was soon changed to 10 double on front and 8 single on each side, later to single on all wheels and there were only 8 on the front.  It has a metal plate that covers the bottom of the pram: the plate was removed when the pram was later redesigned.
This pram is near perfect.  There is one white rub mark on the top edge of one side (10th photo).
We live with a cat and a dog.  Our home is non smoking.
