    Description

This antique mouth blown Heinz bottle is in very good condition. It has one tiny flake chip on the lip, otherwise no glass damage. There are bubbles and a couple small glass flaws from manufacture. There is minor inside contamination, mostly on the shoulder (pic 4) and on the base (pic 5). The spots seen on the shoulder (pics 1 and 6) are from reflection. Heinz was founded in Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1876, and horseradish was their first product (F.& J.Heinz). I do not know why the bottle is embossed Pittsburg U.S.A., and not Pittsburgh PA. This bottle was blown between 1897 and 1903, in the Sharpsburg, Pa., factory. It held 5.5 ounces of dehydrated horseradish, with a cork stopper, and then sealed with wax. It measures 5-1/2" tall, on a 2-1/4" x 1-5/8" base, and it weighs 6.25 ounces. Please look at all the pics before bidding, as they are part of the description. Please email for more pics or information. I do not close my auctions early.
I offer a full refund and free return shipping if not satisfied. Items must be returned in same condition as shown in pics. U.S. buyer pays .75 shipping for this auction, including tracking. International buyer must use Ebay Global shipping only. Payment is expected within 3 days of close of auction. Thanks for looking!
