    Description

    Aqua Blue Green Bubble Glass Bottles
    Davis OK Baking Powder
    2 bottles - 4 1/2" and 4 1/4" tall.
    Raised Lettering "Davis OK Baking Powder" on shoulder
    Nice bubbles scattered throughout the aquamarine glass.
    Both blisters and seeds type of bubbles - see photos.
    Flange lips for the older style cork closure.
    DAVIS OK baking powder was made by Robert Benson Davis Company which began in 1881.
    I think these bottles date from the early 20th century based on the following:
    Numerous bubbles of various sizes indicate that this is from the early period of machine bottle manufacturing which is from 1890 to the early 1920's.
    Mold seams from cup base through the lip makes this a machine made bottle from after 1900.
    The Aqua color indicates that it is no later than the 1920's.
