Collector's white body Samantha is in excellent condition.  Was told she was never played with, and only displayed in a glass covered cabinet.  She is either 1987 or 1988 - not sure!   Her hair is truly exceptional - maintains original bouncy curls, and feels like human hair.  Not dried out at all - silky soft.  Her facial coloring is exquisite - natural looking.  Her long soft eyelashes all look to be intact, and eyes function as they should - beautiful sparkling eyes!  The squeezable vinyl is very clean, as is her muslin cloth body.  Long flat uncut neck strings.  No odors.  Samantha is wearing her meet outfit - dress has paper tag "Made in West Germany for Pleasant Company 1986" - and her black ribbed tights are tagged the same.  She also comes with her white bloomers, black Mary Jane shoes, and hair ribbons.  Samantha has her accessories - not sure if these were purchased at the same time as the doll.  They include her bonnet with flowing ribbons, pink purse, handkerchief, and gold locket pin with photos of her parents.  The "Meet Samantha" book is a first edition, and has the sweetest inscription from Mommy and Daddy - dated 1988.  The burgundy box is in great shape considering its age - a few rubs on the corners - the band is also in nice condition.  The heart on the box has the initials "SDP."
