    Description

This is from my mother's collection.  Mom bought Native American jewelry from the 60's forward, slowed down in the 90's, but never completely stopped until she couldn't get out anymore.  She also almost never kept receipts.  As a result all I know about the jewelry is what I've learned from my own research, but have no idea where or when or from whom she bought any of it, except that she picked up most of these items on trips to Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos.
This set features a happy storyteller modeled in clay and signed by the artist Terrie Saxon.  Only one child, so maybe that's why so happy?  HA!  The necklace is 26" long, the storyteller pendant is 1 & 3/4" long and 1/2" wide.  The earrings are 1/2" long and 1/2" wide at the base.  The earrings appear to be missing one leg each, but on closer inspection I think they were made that way on purpose, with the other leg supposedly folded under the dress?  However, study the photos and make up your own mind about that and the overall condition.   Also, the babies appear to have horns in some of the photos, but I assure you that is the mother's smile in back making it appear that way.
