What a gorgeous wonderful little treasure
This is what I believe Ormolu, With beautiful Jewels all the way around,
I can’t see any missing Jewels, and the Ormolu, is in excellent condition
It is approximately 6 inches long including the handles, and approximately 3 1/4 inches wide and about 3/4” deep.
The beautiful purple glass Is replicated By 4 beautiful Amethyst coloured cabochon feet, all in gorgeous shiny condition,
The engraved figures in the glass are Psyche and Cupid, I believe they are from Greek mythology,
and
the
two were to be
married
,
There is a tiny tiny fleabite as shown in picture 12, wanted to mention!
General wear to the ormolu and glass commensurate with age,
