Found this old bottle has L. Rose & Co. Ltd. on the front--very hard to see in the pics. Emossed on the bottom is an M with a 10 underneath and I believe an S under that. Looks like there was a lid that screwed on. From the research that I've done, I believe this was used for lime marmalade from the '40's.
There are branches with leaves embossed around the outside.
This stands approximately 4 1/2" high. The lid opening measures approximately 2 1/2" across.
