This RPPC depicts one identified (Harrold Himesley), and one unidentified 79th Division Doughboys, circa 1919. One is identified as such by the blue and white, shield shaped, "Cross of Lorraine" shoulder patch. Both of their lower-left sleeves bear a single gold overseas service chevron, which indicate that each served between 3 and 6 months overseas in France, and, or Germany. The seated soldier's collar disc bears the crossed artillery barrels of the field artillery, while the standing Doughboy wears a U.S. collar disc, as well as a musician/buglers cap badge on his collar.
