Description

This beautiful Navajo sterling silver shadowbox turquoise squash blossom necklace set was handmade by Phil & Lenore Garcia and was purchased in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The turquoise and sterling squash blossom necklace measures 18 to 22 to inches long (there is a 4 inch sterling extender attached). The center naja pendant drops down another 1 1/2 inches and is 1 3/8 inches wide. The 8 side squash blossoms measure 7/8 inch long and 3/8 inch wide; each squash blossom has a nice sized turquoise stone (3/8 inch in diameter) in a shadowbox setting. The sterling seamed round beads are 8mm in diameter and the closure includes sterling cone beads and a sterling hook and eye clasp. The backside of the center naja is stamped "P G" for Phil Garcia & "Sterling". This necklace 48.7 weighs  grams or 2.1 ounces. The matching earrings are 1 1/8 inches tall with the ear wires and  weigh 2.2 grams.
