    Here's an early pontiled spice bottle that we dug from an 1855-1863 outhouse privy pit....no embossing....Hand blown in mold....open pontil....crude rolled in lip....aqua....oval with flat front and back....3 3/4"tall.....Good condition with just a small shallow flake on very bottom & a small ping/bruise on top inside surface of lip. A dug bottle with some light haze. I've dug a couple of these unique shaped spice bottles that were embossed and have seen one with label which were for food flavoring spices
