Pair of 19th Century Extra Large Boston Sandwich Glass Cut Overlay Peg Lamps
This pair of extra large beg laps have a white font decorated with clear cut designs. They have an oversize glass wafer connecting the font to the brass column and are mounted on a double step marble base. They date from the 19th Century and were made by the Boston Sandwich Glass Co. They measure approximately 13 + 5/8 inches tall, 3 + 1/4  inches at the widest point of the font, 7/8 of an inch across the opening of the font, and 5 inches across the base. They are in excellent condition with the exception of some blemishes in the glass that occurred in the making, a couple of tiny firing lines near the collar of one font, and some staining and chipping on the marble bases.
