This doll was purchased in 1993 and is an original and retired Samantha Parkington doll created by the Pleasant Company.  The Samantha Parkington doll was officially archived and retired on May 31, 2009.
This doll is in impeccable shape and flawless condition.  She was only used very gently.  There are no markings or imperfections on her body.
Her original clothing and accessories are intact.
The doll’s eyes open and close fully, and her limbs are all functioning.
Included: Samantha’s tea party outfit and nighttime outfit, both purchased in 1994.

About Samantha: Originally released in 1986 and retired in 2009, Samantha Parkington was one of the first three Historical Characters of the American Girl Dolls, representing the Edwardian Era/Early 20th Century. Samantha was first released in 1986 along with Kirsten Larson and Molly McIntire.
