Pre-Mattel Samantha is stamped Pleasant Company on the back of her neck.  She has squeezable vinyl, long soft eyelashes, natural facial coloring, hair with original curl, and clean with no odors.  Her eyes open and close as they should.  Only issue I could find- her strings have been cut...luckily she can easily stand and hold a pose.
